AAF Birmingham CreateAthon

We are hosting a CreateAthon for student members of AAF Birmingham and local advertising and marketing students Saturday, November 13^th from 9-4 at Samford University, Cooney Family Field House. The CreateAthon will harness creative talent for a good cause. Our pro bono marketing marathon will work to benefit Youth Towers, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was formed in August 2011 to take preventative action against youth homelessness in the Birmingham, Alabama metropolitan area. Youth Towers targets individuals who are in need of homeless prevention and works to help them stay off the streets and to become contributing members of the community. The CreateAthon will build life-changing experiences for creative students who seek to bring their creative talents together for the greater good. CreateAthon will provide student volunteers with networking opportunities, a sense of purpose and a stunning portfolio piece. Youth Towers will receive free professional design and marketing to expand their reach. Food will be provided.
