Join us Wednesday, October 26th as we hear from Shawn Fitzwater, with Fitz Signs & Murals. Shawn will be discussing his entrepreneurship path in building Fitz Signs & Murals.
Shawn Fitzwater started Fitz Signs & Murals mid-2018 after picking up a brush and trying his hand at painting a colorful mural in his own kids bedroom. What Shawn thought would be a nice little side hustle quickly evolved into a full blown business and a new career path. Shawns amazing talent for drawing and goofing off in sketch books as a kid resurfaced and blossomed into new inspirations and creations…this skill that came to him naturally began paying off and Shawn continues to learn and grow as an artist.
Shawn has been responsible for the many new murals going up in and around Birmingham! He has created murals at the Birmingham Zoo, Strong Automotive, Buc-ee's, as well as murals for many other local businesses and communities. Shawn helped in leading the completion of "Black Lives Matter" painted on the road at railroad park. This message was completed in 2 days thanks to help of the public who joined in to aid in its completion.
