Mike Lear: Creativity and Happiness. Why can't they get along?

We are incredibly excited to welcome Mike Lear, Executive Creative Director at The Americas at BrightHouse, a BCG Company, as our November luncheon speaker!

Luke Sullivan, Alex Bogusky and Mike Hughes have all hired Mike Lear.

His career spans over 20 years. He's produced campaigns in all media for MINI, Truth, IKEA, Virgin-Atlantic, Google, Molson, Bell, Shimano, GEICO, UPS, UPS Nascar, The UPS Store, Discover Card, American Cancer Society, Mentos, SiriusXM, Midas, The Smithsonian, The Onion, Microsoft, Walmart and Denny’s.

Mike now serves as Executive Creative Director, the Americas, at BrightHouse, a global creative consultancy and an independent division of The Boston Consulting Group, helping brands define and activate their purpose throughout the world.

Mike enjoys moonlighting as a teacher - three years at the Creative Circus, and over ten years off and on at VCU's Brandcenter. He also frequently lectures at other schools and ad clubs events.

Mike's work has been awarded in all major award shows, but he is most proud of winning one of the first One Show Pencils ever given for digital work, for the MINI Cooper Robot Campaign.

So far in 2019, he is honored to judge The Austin Addy’s, The Webby’s and Cannes Young Lions.

Please note that we are now using Wild Apricot Membership Software. When registering, if it is your first time to login to our Wild Apricot website, you will be prompted to accept their terms of use.

We are thankful for the generosity of our Platinum sponsor, Vulcan Park and Museum.
