A 20+ year veteran in marketing and management, Phyllis Rush owned and operated her own content marketing and social media company for six years, selling the company to The Intermark Group in 2013, then moving on to head up the Content Marketing division for Alabama Media Group, owners of AL.com, The Birmingham News, Birmingham Magazine, The Huntsville Times, and the Mobile Press-Register.  Neill-Rush also spent the majority of her career working for Arbitron and Nielsen, where she quickly became an expert in software development and with traditional advertising mediums such as radio and television advertising. When not overseeing the writing of winning content strategies for her many clients, she can often be found doing yard work with her wife Pam, playing the piano, or reading any of three different books at a time.
